We chose Python because it works just as we do – it gets straight to the point and focuses on the solution, meanwhile respecting form. In short, it gets the job done without unnecessary complication. Plus, have to respect its flexibility and scalability, which allow us to deliver worthwhile software without a hitch, and regardless of the client-chosen platform.

Another thing is its business orientation. Python is 5 to 10 times faster in terms of development time compared to Java or C++. It provides enhanced process control capabilities and an object-oriented design to facilitate speed and productivity.

Quick, lean and mean!

Well, when you say A you have to say B. That’s why the only logical web framework for us had to be python-based Django. There are many benefits here, and if we were to choose our favourites, we’d pick its efficiency to perform with and maintain high load systems and ability to decrease development time thanks to lots of helper objects. But if you are more curious – let us know, we can always elaborate.

You need to have a proficient tool in your Front End arsenal, and for that task we have picked Angular. It is simple and time-effective, especially when developing large scale, complex web applications. It’s a “fit-all” framework that enables us to work across platforms with ease and without producing ridiculous amounts of code. Additionally you can always depend on the enormous community behind it and be certain it's going to be sustainable for a very long time.

You don’t use a sledgehammer to kill a fly, they say. Probably the issue is impracticality. That’s why when we have to quickly develop a low level web application we use Flask. Simple and customizable architecture, coupled with the ability to use plugins, libraries and build functionalities in a flexible way, Flask makes it easy to pick up work fast and still keep quality and security. Even more exciting is the fact that it enables simple applications to be later changed to add more functionality and make them more complex. It provides flexibility to expand the application quickly.

What’s not to like?

We couldn’t lay claim to flexibility if we weren’t able to develop for a diversified array of platforms, and as we have Python in our veins, when creating applications for macOS we use PyObjC. This natural, bi-directional bridge between Python and Objective-C, allows us to take full advantage of the power provided by various Objective-C based toolkits and use native UI elements from macOS. That’s precisely why we see no obstacles when asked to create anything for Apple platforms. In fact we’ll gladly pick up any challenge.

Along our way we had our share of diversified projects. Among them were, of course, IoT solutions. Again, we chose Python. This time, connected with Raspberry PI. This combination has served us well when creating more complex IoT projects. We like when solutions work hand in hand.

We feel awkward using buzzwords, but when that’s what you call building small applications which work independently, yet complement each other to fulfill a certain task, then Microservices is what we do (among other things).

Why? We have full flexibility, are able to maintain the entire architecture and avoid major risks, and are able to scale up quickly. It’s only logical.

You could call us a “package deal”, and A to Z partner. That’s why we are no stranger to the DevOps side of software development. With years of experience working with Linux servers, we can easily set up a stable and efficient environment for a Python-based web application, and assure its safety. Although we work mainly with on-premise solutions, We have experience with and can easily adapt to AWS.
